Head to head

A complete team store.
Not just custom apparel.

SquadLocker outfits your squad in custom apparel and uniforms. TeamStore HQ carries that — plus the bats, gloves, cleats, helmets and equipment your families buy anyway. One store instead of two vendors.

Comparison reflects SquadLocker's publicly stated positioning as a custom apparel and uniform team store, as at September 2026. It is not based on any private information, and other companies change what they offer — check their current site before deciding. Brands and availability vary by program. Dashes mean we make no claim either way.

The difference

Why outfit your program twice?

With an apparel-only store, coaches still chase a separate vendor for every bat, ball, net and helmet — then reconcile two sets of invoices, two delivery windows and two points of contact.

01

Gear and apparel in one store

From bats, balls and helmets to custom uniforms and spirit wear, athletes get outfitted head to toe without a second vendor.

02

The spend that actually happens

Apparel is roughly one or two items a season per family. Cleats, bats and protective gear are bought all year — and bought anyway.

03

Earn on more than merch

A store that carries only apparel can only ever earn on apparel. One that carries equipment earns on the larger half of the basket.

04

A rep, not a ticket queue

A dedicated ST1 Sports contact who knows your program, your sports and your season.

What families buy anyway

None of this is spirit wear.

This is the spending that happens over a season whether or not a team store carries it. An apparel-only store captures none of it.

Questions, answered

TeamStore HQ vs SquadLocker

What is the difference between TeamStore HQ and SquadLocker?

SquadLocker is a custom apparel and uniform team store. TeamStore HQ is a complete online sporting-goods store: uniforms and spirit wear plus hard equipment such as bats, balls, gloves, helmets and footwear, from the brands ST1 Sports stocks.

Does a TeamStore HQ store cost anything to set up?

No. TeamStore HQ stores are free to set up and free to run, with no minimum orders and no closing dates. The store stays open year round, so athletes buy what they need when they need it.

Can a team store sell equipment as well as apparel?

Yes. That is the central difference. A TeamStore HQ store carries equipment, footwear, bags and training gear alongside custom apparel and uniforms, so families order everything in one place.

How does a program earn from a team store?

Eligible purchases through the store put money back into the program, on equipment as well as apparel. Because the store carries the gear families already buy, the earning base is much larger than an apparel-only shop can reach.

How do families receive their orders?

Families choose. Orders can ship directly to their door, or go to Team Pickup, where orders bundle and ship on the 1st and 15th of each month for coaches to distribute at practice.
